I have a deed from 1746 that has been passed down in my family. The deed documents the sale of 34 acres in "Wilmington from the county of Middlesex in the province of Massachusetts Bay in New England" from Isaac Howe to Samuel Williams. I am interested in any information that anyone has on Samuel Williams. Since this deed has been passed down in my family, I would assume that Samuel Williams is a relative of mine, but I cannot place him at all in my family tree. I also cannot locate him through Ancestry.com as a person from Wilmington in that time period (1746). Can anyone help?
