Where is the best place to eat in Sedalia, Missouri and why?
The Ivory Grille. The Ivory Grille is located
inside of Hotel Bothwell, and seems to be the only fine dining restaurant located in Sedalia, MO. I was
formerly
a waitress there and I enjoyed the atmosphere better than any restaurant I have ever eaten or worked at, which
says a lot. You rarely find an
establishment that is capable of having a great environment for their customers as
well as their employees. If you're looking for gourmet food or a nice
place to sit down and have a drink, The
Ivory Grille is the place to go with its authentic ragtime music and decor and an open bar downstairs. You
can't go wrong; although it's a little on the expensive side, you'll appreciate the money that you spend because
it's well worth it. Dinner includes three
complimentary accompaniments, including salad or soup (I recommend the
house salad), the chef's own cheddar and chive biscuits (try them with the
maple butter), and a signature
complimentary dessert (a new york style cheesecake with a chocolate treble clef on top). Customers are always
first
here, and you definitely feel appreciated, but don't take my word for it, GO and see for yourself! ^_^
