The Palms Retro is a recently refurbished gem featuring 1950s themed rooms. Each room is uniquely furnished, emphasizing a theme from a bygone era. Climb into bed with Marilyn Monroe in The Divas. Hang with James Dean, Steve McQueen and Marlon Brando in The Bad Boys. Party down with Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. in The Rat Pack, or get your vibe with BB King, Ray Charles and Charlie Parker in The Cool. Other themes include The Tube, The Dudes, The Rock n' Rollers, The Beach, The Legends and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Our heavily landscaped, enclosed courtyard features fifties music and provides a relaxing environment and the perfect venue for small gatherings. The property is located just a short stroll from Atlantic Beach Town Center at 28 Sherry Drive. We're just off Atlantic Boulevard which runs from Jacksonville's downtown area directly to our beautiful beaches. Our guests enjoy nearby public beach access, where you can spend your day sunbathing, riding a bicycle or taking a leisurely stroll with someone special. Fabulous dining experiences await you at over 20 restaurants including Sun Dog, Rag Time, Ocean 60, Sticky Fingers, Mezza Luna and Sliders. Many feature live music.
