This alternative to Augusta area hotels and motels is Maines first certified Environmental Leader green lodging2005 received the Maine Governors Award for Environmental Excellence2004 named One of 30 Great U.S. Inns by Travel Leisure magazine 2002 was noted as the Best of Both Worlds as an Editors Pick by Yankee Magazines Travel Guide to New England 2002 and 2003 and rated best bed breakfast hands down by a 1997 statewide newspaper poll.
