Perfectly located in the heart of Colorado's celebrated Vail Mountain Village, the Austria Haus is situated next to the Covered Bridge on the banks of the beautiful Gore Creek, just steps away from the Vista Bahn chair lift and the numerous shops, restaurants, and outdoor venues of the pedestrian Village. Built in 1998, our lovely boutique hotel carries a prestigious first place awards for International resort architecture and design as well as the highest platinum ratings from the Vail Valley Tourism and Convention Bureau. Austria Haus Hotel greets you with a centuries old European tradition of excellence in guest service, hospitality, and amenities. Our graciously appointed lodging accommodations include 25 valley view guestrooms and suites, each invoking a feeling of mountain elegance. All feature natural wood, hand-troweled plaster walls, coffered ceilings with antiqued brass fans, and custom designed furniture, fabrics and artwork in warm earth tones. In each bathroom you'll enjoy heated marble floors and large vanities with unique cosmetic lighting. Some rooms also include gas-log fireplaces, step-out or French balconies, and air-conditioning, or you may choose from a combination of these features. Guests also enjoy complimentary continental breakfast featuring fresh-baked pastries and breads, seasonal fruits, and hot and cold cereals; award winning dining at The Lodge at Vail and complimentary slopeside ski storage, local transportation and Monday night cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

From Denver International Airport - Take Pena Blvd. To I-70 West. Then Take I-70 West to Vail exit number 176. (approx 2 hour drive) Get of at the main Vail exit 176. Enter the first roundabout and take the 4th exit to Vail road. Enter the second roundabout and take the 3rd exit off the roundabout to South Frontage Road East. Take South Frontage Road east approximately 100 yards and make a right on Village Center Road. The Austria Haus is located at the bottom of the road on the left.
From Eagle Airport - Take the airport road to Route 6 and turn right. Stay on Route 6 through the town of Eagle, and follow the signs to I-70 East. Take I-70 East to Vail exit number 176. (allow 45 minutes driving time). Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout to South Frontage Road East.Take South Frontage Road east approximately 100 yards and make a right on Village Center Road. The Austria Haus is located at the bottom of the road on the left.
