Built in 1983 the Earth Inn Motel was green before it was ever a trend. In fact the Earth Inn is a question in the game Trivial Pursuit. It is the countrys first in ground motel and is well insulated since it is built partially underground. That means it is super quiet so you will sleep like a baby. The 17 room motel has gone through extensive remodels over the years particularly in 2007 and again in 2010 and each room is uniquely designed and most with a different theme. The motel has also been updated with new flat screen TVs new beds new carpeting and flooring with a microwave and small refrigerator in each room. The Earth Inn consistently receives high ratings on Trip Advisor and Yelp because our rooms are super CLEAN and you are always greeted with a warm smile and the best of small town hospitality. But do not take our word for it. Check us out for yourself. We are home to the Jackson Speedway and conveniently located off I 90 between Minneapolis and Sioux Falls South Dakota. We are just 20 minutes from Spirit Lake Iowa. We are just behind the Embers Restaurant and Dairy Queen and are open all year round.
