This is a perfectly restored 1830s home with tin roof gas fireplace private bath use of parlor and dining areas includes large private full bedroom with desk internet cable TV additional twin sofa bed for additional seating or 3rd person. Transoms over doorways tall ceilings really nice. The uniqueness of this home is the civil war era history of the home which was built by Mr. William Sypert in 1830 where he lived and worked as a practicing attorney. Sypert apparently somewhat of a politician personally negotiated with the union soldiers on the public square during the civil war talking the enemy into agreement not to burn the city square and his house next. They had just burned the college down and were headed for William Syperts house next.
