The Highland Lake Resort is located on a 5.25 acre lot on Highland Lake in Bridgton Maine with the grounds gently sloping down towards the lakefront. There is a fenced-in tennis court halfway down the property towards the water. A graded gravel road leads from the tennis court area and the adjoining parking lot for one set of the motel units down to the waterfront. The Resort has two lodging buildings with a total of 22 rooms connected at a right angle. All rooms have a connected covered porch on the lake side. A 1000 square foot handicap-accessible conference room is located beside the Resort office. Attached to the other side of the conference center is a 35 by 90 Health Spa Fitness Center and Game Room. Along the 400 of lakefront there is a private beach approximately 30 feet in width with a capped stone wall edging it and a long dock extending out into the lake with bench seating. It is very sandy with a gradual grade. The other end of the waterfront has a private paved boat ramp and is where the canoes and kayaks are kept. There is an open grassy spot located between the two beaches which is often used for wedding ceremonies. There are also hibachi grills picnic tables and a larger stone fireplace near the beaches. Finally there is a set of docks close to the swimming beach with space to dock up to 4 boats.
