  • Woodford Reserve Distillery

  • This distillery brands small batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by the Brown-Forman Corporation and is the oldest and smallest distillery. Distillery does give tours.
  • Bluegrass Heritage Museum

  • The museum explorers the era of the Eskippakithiki Indians, Daniel Boone to the modern day.
  • Lexington Opera House

  • It is a grand circa-1887 performing arts center that features ballet, concerts and shows.
  • Hunt Morgan House

  • Historically known as Hopemont, it is a Federal style resident that was built by John Wesley Hunt who was the first millionaire west of the Alleghenies. It features a Civil War museum on the second floor.
  • Kentucky Theater

  • It is a historic cinema theater located in downtown that opened in 1922 and features 1st run and independent films as well as midnight shows and more.

  • Museum is located at BlueGrass Airport and includes 12,000 square feet of exhibit space, a library, aircraft restoration and repair shop.
  • Mary Todd Lincoln House

  • The childhood home of the 17th President of the United States wife and is now a house museum open to the public.

  • It is a horse harness racing track and is one of the most famous racks. The track is one miles long and made of red clay hence the name. It does have a 2 story club house used for social gatherings.
  • Wild Turkey Distillery

  • The bourbon distillery founded in 1869 received the name when Thomas MCarthey took a supply of his bourbon on a wild turkey hunting trip. His group of friends loved it so much the brand was born. Distillery does give tours.
  • Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distillery Company

  • The distillery's mission is to make the very best beers and they have done that with their Kentucky Ale. They do give tours.
  • Herrington Lake Marina

  • Full service marina with boat slips and cabin rentals open April to October 7 days a week. This artifical lake is 35 miles long and has fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, wake boarding and boat riding.
  • Boone Station

  • It is a 46 acre State Historic Site on the Boone's Creek near Athens and has numerous reconstructed log cabins and a stockade.
  • Victorian Square Shoppes

  • Offers unique and Kentucky insprired shoppes along with restaurants, bars, galleries and a theater and museum for the kids.
  • Four Roses Distillery

  • Opened in 1922 and was one of only 6 bourbon distilleries that were granted permission to operate under prohibition. Name was given when the founder was smitten by a Southern belle whom he invited to a grand ball and she wore a corsage of four roses. Dist
