The Lodge Resort Hotel of Forest City Iowa is a family resort hotel. There is a restaurant on site open from noon until 8 p.m. daily except for Sundays. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered daily. Our suites are large and feature your choice of either two queen beds or queen bed and sofa sleeper. We also have king bed suites and smaller standard rooms. The smaller standard rooms each have a patio door leading to a private outside deck. Hiking and cross country skiing trails cross the property as does the Winnebago River. Canoe rentals are available in town and may be launched from our launch area. In addition to picturesque river views you might want to try your hand at fishing. Northern pike have been caught just outside our back door. During winter months enjoy watching the Bald Eagles as they watch for fish. Families with smaller children may wish to walk the paved trails a short distance to a public playground. Golfing at the adjoining Bear Creek Golf Course is public and reasonably price. When evening arrives everyone will be pleased with our restaurant offerings which feature Italian and American favorites. Mealtime beverages are also available. A pool table and foosball table are available on a first come first serve basis in our game room. Larger family groups are also welcome to use our hotel family room at no cost.
