Property Description
Fine food a traditional lodge ambiance and a perfect ski-in ski-out location bring over seventy percent of our guests back each year to Altas first ski lodge. Alta Lodge offers the classic ski vacation - evoking a time when a ski lodge offered more than just a place to stay. The Alta Lodge atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. Guests make themselves at home in front of the lobby fireplace with the New York Times meet friends for afternoon tea and cookies or unwind in the Sitzmark Club bar with a view of High Rustler Altas famous ski run. The Lodge has 57 rooms ranging from large slope-facing rooms to small dorm rooms. Most rooms have spectacular mountain views. The Lodge offers several rooms with corner views three beds and a sitting area and several rooms have a fireplace and private balcony. In keeping with our traditional lodge atmosphere there are no televisions in our guest rooms free wireless internet access is available throughout the Lodge. Great food is at the center of the Alta Lodge experience. Full breakfast and a four-course dinner daily are included with your stay. Guests may also ski back to the Lodge for a relaxing lunch with a perfect mountain view. Our free Kids Club is popular with kids and parents alike. For children ages 4 to 12 Kids Club includes a ski school shuttle aprs-ski activities Kids Dinner after-dinner crafts and kids movie.     Alta Lodge is located at 8600 feet 2620 meters at the base of Alta Ski Area - just 32 miles 52 km from Salt Lake International Airport. The on-mountain location means no car is needed guests ski out the door to Altas lifts and return via a short rope tow.
