The Orcas Hotel first opened its doors to guests in 1904 and to this day retains all the charm of its Victorian heritage. Nestled in the heart of the San Juan Islands it offers breath taking views delicious food and a lively atmosphere. Sitting over looking the Orcas Island ferry landing it is easy to see why this charming hotel has become an ideal spot for destination weddings. When you become our guest you are entitled to much more than simply a bed to sleep in. From our cafe you can treat yourself to Starbucks coffee and fresh baked pastries. For dinner a short wander down the hallway will land you in Octavias Bistro where you can indulge in a wide variety of foods including vegetarian and gluten free options. Not hungry Grab a drink at the bar relax and enjoy the view. The Orcas Hotel creates a care free destination when traveling to Orcas Island. Easy walk on and walkoff ferry access. You can leave your car on the mainland and avoid long ferry waits. Across the street from the hotel you can rent a car or moped for island touring. Orcas offers outdoor activities such as whalewatch cruises biplane rides golf bicycling kayaking and horseback riding as well as quaint shops and art galleries. The heart of Orcas Island is the 5252 acre Moran State Park. Located within the park is Mount Constitution 2409 feet above sea level and the highest point in the San Juan Islands. The offers a stunning 360degree view of islands and mountains from Canada to Seattle. Moran has 30 miles of trails lakes and waterfalls.
