The living room with fireplace is a perfect setting to sit with your favorite book or on a sunny winter day the perfect place to close your eyes and escape. All the rooms are designerappointed and decorated differently which offer various styles to the sophisticated traveler or the firsttime visitor to a bed and breakfast. Just steps from the village of Chatham on Cape Cod MA our guests are fond of saying that they enjoy being able to walk to shops and restaurants without having to get in their car and drive. Other local attractions are within walking distance as well. There are 2.2 mile walks that take you to and from the Chatham Lighthouse or a 3mile walk that takes you past Oyster Pond Mitchell River on Bridge Street to the Lighthouse and back down to Main Street to The Old Harbor Inn on Old Harbor Road. The Chatham Fish Pier is just a short 1mile walk from the inn also. Watching the fishing boats unload their catch and the gulls and seals vie for scraps is an entertaining adventure. In the summer you are steps from The Monomoy Theater Cape Cod Baseball seal tours and summer Chatham Band Concerts.The Old Harbor Inn is a Select Registry Distinguished Inn of North America property and is highly rated on Trip Advisor.
