Davis Dam
Davis Dam is an earth fill dam on the Colorado River about 70 miles downstream from Hoover Dam. Davis Dam forms Lake Mohave. The dams purpose is to re-regulate releases from Hoover Dam and facilitate the delivery of Colorado River water to Mexico.
Grapevine Canyon Pass
Native American petroglyphs left by an unknown tribe adorn the walls of this canyon located near Christmas Tree Pass northwest of Laughlin. Two miles off Hwy 163 the canyon was named for the abundant wild grape plants to be found in the area.
Hoover Dam
Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River on the border between Arizona and Nevada. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 and was dedicated on September 30 1935 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
