The Izaak Walton Inn in Essex Montana is located on the southern border of Glacier National Park. The Izaak has a reputation for providing a warm friendly home-away-from-home experience and is an ideal choice for family vacations. The rooms at the Izaak Walton Inn have been remodeled to offer vintage charm private bathrooms and a true feel for the Inns railway history. Our rooms do not have the distractions of televisions or telephones. Stay in one of six unique caboose rentals or six new family cabins. The Cabooses and Cabins offer a woodsy setting adjacent to our hiking trails. For a truly unique and special experience consider staying in our newest addition the GN 441 Luxury Locomotive.
