A luxurious haven overlooking sparkling Hanalei Bay, the resort offers the perfect departure point for exploring the quaint communities of Kilauea and Hanalei. In addition to a wide range of ocean activities, including surf lessons and snorkeling, guests may enjoy nearby horseback rides along the majestic Na Molokama mountain range, hiking Napali or kayaking the idyllic Hanalei River. Princeville Shopping Plaza and the town of Hanalei are located within four miles of the resort, offering a wide range of charming retail opportunities, including art galleries, Kauai Gifts, Restaurants and fashion boutiques. Shopping hours vary, but are generally 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm. Kokee State Park Just beyond the lookouts to Waimea Canyon is a 4,345 acre preserve popular for hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and day trips. Next to the park headquarters is Kokee Lodge and the Kauai Natural History Museum. Approximately two hours from resort. Kaua'i Museum Housed in two adjoining buildings on Lihue's main street, the Kaua'i Museum offers an in-depth orientation to the island's diverse cultures and history. Approximately one hour from resort. Limahuli Gardens & Preserve Limahuli Gardens and Preserve is set in a verdant tropical valley approximately 20 minutes from the resort. The Garden's exquisite backdrop is the majestic Makana Mountain and Pacific Ocean. Behind the Garden is the Limahuli Preserve where conservationists and restoration biologists are working to preserve plant species native to this habitat. Approximately 30 minutes from resort.
