Lake Havasu City is a city in Mohave County, Arizona, USA. The city had a population of 41,938 in the 2000
census.
Future of Lake Havasu City
The estimated population in July, 2004, was 53,204. Projects are under way include Lake Havasu City's first
regional mall, The Centre. The Tennessee-based development company Wolford Development will construct
the 741,871 sq ft mall at an estimated cost of between $80 million and $118 million. If agreed by the city council,
the mall would have two or three main stores and 80 or 90 shops. Construction would also include a cinema with
an enclosed food court and a water feature. Work on the mall is expected to create 1,600 construction jobs, and
once opened will employ 1,400 full-time empoylees. Work is scheduled to break ground this fall, and open next
year (2007).

Lake Havasu City is located at 34°29'24?N, 114°18'32?W (34.489969, -114.309019)GR1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 111.6 km sq (43.1 mi sq). 111.5 km sq
(43.0 mi sq) of it is land and 0.1 km sq (0.04 mi sq) of it (0.07%) is water.
The climatology of the area is such that Lake Havasu City is often the warmest location in the entire state,
and oftentimes, the entire country.
Education
Lake Havasu City is served by the Lake Havasu Unified School District.
Attractions
London Bridge
Lake Havasu - paddleboats and motor boats are available.
English Village, a shopping area inspired by classic English architecture, located by the London Bridge.
There are many tourist shops on the banks of Lake Havasu. Boat rentals are also popular among tourists.
Attractions for young adults and kids- the Aquatic Center water park, Havasu Underground (a cool hang out
spot for teens), Rotary Park, the bowling alley, the movie theater, and, of course, the lake.
