Ardmore is a town located in Limestone County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 1,034.

As of the census of 2000, there are 1,034 people, 460 households, and 276 families residing n the town. The population density is 195.7/km sq. (506.8/mi sq.). There are 506 housing units at an average density of 95.8/km sq. (248.0/mi sq.). The racial makeup of the town is 96.23% White, 0.87% Black or African American, 0.48% Native American, 0.77% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 1.16% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. 1.74% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 460 households out of which 27.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% are married couples living together, 11.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 39.8% are non-families. 36.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 21.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
