There are 239 housing units at an average density of 167.8/sq km (430.8/sq miles). The racial makeup of the town is 17.85% White, 81.00% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.15% from two or more races. 1.54% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 207 households out of which 36.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 34.8% are married couples living together, 30.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.4% are non-families. 28.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.52 and the average family size is 3.15.
